RapidRides Buyer Protection
Guidance for safe vehicle purchases on RapidRides — and a preview of our upcoming protected transaction feature.
Recommended payment methods
Until SafePay launches, RapidRides recommends using established, traceable payment methods when finalizing a vehicle purchase:
- • Bank wire transfer through a verified dealership or escrow agent.
- • Cashier's check verified in person at the issuing bank.
- • A licensed third-party escrow service that holds funds until title transfer.
SafePay — Protected Transactions (Coming Soon)
RapidRides SafePay is a forthcoming protected transaction workflow that will hold the buyer's payment with a regulated third-party escrow partner until the title is verified and the vehicle is delivered as described.
When SafePay launches, eligible listings will display aSafePay Eligiblebadge and buyers can opt in at checkout.
Important: RapidRides does not currently hold customer funds
RapidRides connects buyers and sellers and supports the transaction with title verification and dispute review, but does not currently hold or process escrow payments. All funds flow directly between buyer and seller (or via a third-party escrow service chosen by them) until SafePay is officially launched.
